Terms of Service

These Terms govern the hosted WeaveLedger service operated by WeaveHub Technologies LLC ("WeaveHub," "we," "us") at weaveledger.app and subdomains. By subscribing to or using the hosted service you agree to these Terms. The open-source WeaveLedger software, which you may host yourself, is licensed separately under its repository license and is not covered by these Terms.

1. The service

Hosted WeaveLedger provides a private instance of the WeaveLedger bookkeeping application on a subdomain you choose, including receipt storage, AI-assisted receipt extraction, email-in receipt ingestion, and data export. We may modify features over time; we will not materially reduce the core service you pay for during a paid period.

2. Accounts and subdomains

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information.
• Subdomains are first-come, first-served, must meet our format rules, and are fixed once claimed. We may reclaim a subdomain that infringes rights, impersonates another party, or violates these Terms.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity on your instance.

3. Fees and billing

• Billing is via Stripe on a monthly or annual subscription that renews automatically until canceled.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
• AI usage beyond your plan's included allowance requires prepaid credit packs, which are non-refundable and do not expire.

4. Your data

• Your receipts, records, and files remain yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, back up, and display them to you — that is, to run the service.
• You can export your data at any time in the formats the application provides.
• If your subscription ends: for 30 days your instance remains available read-only for export; for a further 60 days it is retained offline and can be restored by resubscribing; approximately 90 days after subscription end it is permanently deleted. Deletion is irreversible.
• We may delete an instance sooner at your verified request.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to store or process unlawful content; to infringe others' rights; to probe, disrupt, or overload the service or other tenants; to resell access; or to abuse AI features (including automated bulk submission unrelated to genuine bookkeeping). We may suspend or terminate instances that violate this section, with notice where practicable.

6. AI features and no professional advice

AI extraction is assistive and may be inaccurate. Amounts, categories, and tax-deductibility flags are machine-generated suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing your records before relying on them. WeaveLedger and WeaveHub do not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice; consult a qualified professional for such matters.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST. NO UPTIME SERVICE LEVEL IS OFFERED.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEAVEHUB'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

9. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold WeaveHub harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms or non-payment. Sections 4 (data lifecycle), and 6–9 survive termination.

11. Changes; governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-service notice at least 14 days before taking effect, and continued use constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WeaveHub Technologies LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; exclusive venue lies in the courts of that jurisdiction.
